Here is what she had to say about her experience:
Interviewer: "How was your experience with 911 homes?"
Patrice: "I think for me, what was the best one I can say is how fast it was. Because I was worried that I wouldn't get into a new house in like a month. But its a quick process and that's the best thing for me. I guess it was easier on the mind knowing that it will be all done soon."
Interviewer: "And you have been in your house for a couple months already, how does it feel?"
Patrice: "Hmm, it's so different. I had to get used to it. Like actually having to care about how it looks and everything. It was just getting used to it, but it's good experience though."
"And I don't know, the kitchen was the best one for me just because I can cook any time and everything so. I am still getting used to it right now, sometimes I wake up and I'm like 'oh yeah it's our house' kind of deal."
Interviewer: "It feels good?"
Patrice: "Yes!"
Interviewer: "And did Rolando and Maribel answer your questions through the process?"
Patrice: "Yes it was answered and it was prompt which is nice. And with me it was good because I didn't really have time to meet up and everything. So it was either email or phone, everything was answered properly.
"Like on time as well and that was I guess was one of the good things for me because we were able to communicate by email and normally it is difficult with other processes; especially cause this is such a big decision. It worked out well that you accommodated the request in communicating that way."
Interviewer: "Would you recommend 911 Homes to people that are not in a position yet to acquire their home and go into a rent to own program?"
Patrice: "Yes definitely. a lot of people don't really understand how it works and I guess having that I say something and that it worked for us. I guess they would believe it more. By word of mouth with someone who is actually doing the program. But yes I would recommend it."
Interviewer: "Is it clear to you what it would take to qualify now that we have meet with the mortgage broker?"
Patrice: "Yes it's a bit clearer now because initially I was like 'okay you go to a mortgage broker and what happens next'. But it's clear now to make sure this is done and they give you a time limit to make sure it's done in these two years.
"And the list we have here, making sure that our credit is 80% lower, kind of gives us an idea of things we have to do rather than just a general thing, 'oh make sure that you don't do this and that'. It's best here just because you list it. Yes we have a plan."
Patrice: "It's been good experience so far and I guess it's nice we have a plan now. Making sure it's done and it seems so long but I am sure that it will just fly by so we need to make sure that we do our part too I guess."
